As music education professionals, we are committed to providing our clients with excellent music instruction and products. Doing business with our company involves providing us with information about you. Protection of your personal information is a top priority.

Respecting your right to privacy and safeguarding your personal information is of paramount importance to us. As a result of “The Personal Information Protections and Electronic Documents Act”, we have further strengthened our policy by informing you of the method that we use to gather your personal information. Rest assured that we will only handle your personal information in a manner that is reasonable and appropriate.

In order to service your needs effectively, we need to collect personal information. The following is the rationale for collecting such information:

* To verify, identify and complete the student application process.
* To provide you with quality ongoing service.
* To process lesson payments in a timely fashion.

* Credit card information that relates specifically to payments of lessons or products.

Respond to any request that you may make to access or correct your personal information . Obtain the appropriate consent from you for the collection, use, or disclosure of your personal information.

PROVIDING CONSENT

We may determine that by your seeking music instruction or products, your consent has been implied to us to deal with your personal information in a reasonable manner.

Your receipt of this personal information indicates that you are in agreement of this policy, unless you advise Richmond Music either orally or in writing that you do not agree with the terms as stated, and that you wish to opt out of all or portions of it.

Your signature on an application for music instruction and for products. Orally by your express consent either in person or via telephone.
